Ugly Rugly Brutto Rug $115Shop

"NY-based weird-rug purveyor Ugly Rugly is in the midst of a collaboration with Urban Outfitters with styles running between $700 and $900. But I got my Ugly Rugly (in a small-sized Brutto style) for just $115 by keeping an eye on their Instagram stories sample sales. I'm mulling over where its permanent home will be in my apartment-I'm thinking just outside the bathroom door, where it will get enough attention but won't get wet from shower stepping or dirty from shoe swiping."

Cultiver Linen Sheet Set $385Shop

"Cultiver's linen sheets in new shade Bluestone (which was basically made to complement my terracotta-y Benjamin Moore Careless Whispers bedroom) are my first set of linen sheets and will simply not be my last if I have anything to do with it. Let me let you in on a little secret: whether it's the dead of winter or the height of summer, NYC apartments are sweltering-especially on the upper floors. So no, now that I'm onto the cool, cloud-like linen game, I won't be sweating it up in any other sheet. Thanks, Cultiver, and sorry Charlie (my husband, who is likely to push back on this news given the financial implications)."

WOPET Automatic Pet Feeder Food Dispenser $90Shop

"I'm mentally and emotionally fine with leaving my cat home for 48 hours. But given Cauliflower's voracious appetite and complete lack of restraint, it became hard to ignore that there was no way he was exhibiting portion control in regards to the overflowing bowl of dry food we'd leave out for him for the timespan.

The Wopet Automatic Pet Feeder has changed everything. This robot has four programmable mealtimes and customizable portions, and now when we're away, Cauli receives regular dry food deliveries of the appropriate size. It runs both on electricity and battery for backup, and also offers a recorded message feature that can make the robot sound like me which I'm sure is exactly what the cat wants to hear when he's eating. With the Wopet in place, the upset to his routine once caused by our absence is eliminated, and I can tell he's much less cranky on our return."

IKEA MASTHOLMEN Outdoor Loveseat $149Shop

"Buying outdoor furniture at the end of summer may seem counterintuitive, but fall is my favorite season to take advantage of my balcony. So, this year I decided to give it a little pre-autumn refresh and replace a set of bistro chairs with this stylish loveseat. The rattan adds a fun Boho twist to an otherwise industrial space-think beige brick walls and a white metal railing-and I can't wait to spend crisp weekend mornings lounging on the cushy seat with a cup of coffee in hand."

Burrow The Gray Essential Throw $79Shop

"Speaking of fall, the season can't officially start without at least one new throw added to my collection. This gray blanket is hand-woven and incredibly soft, so I know it will get plenty of use as the temperature starts to drop. The color may be neutral, but the texture and tassels add an aestheticallyВ pleasing look."

SPENING Dish Rack and Drainboard Set $41Shop

"I never thought I'd be excited about getting a new dish rack, but I guess that's what your late 20s does to you. I've only had this one for a couple of weeks, but I'm already thrilled with it. The rose gold hue is subdued, but adds just the right amount of interest to an otherwise utilitarian piece. The drainboard is sturdy and well made, and the black blends seamlessly with my black countertops. Who knew such a chic drying rack was out there?"

Food52 Five Two Airtight Silicone Lids $40 for set of fiveShop

"In my small apartment kitchen, storage space is at a minimum. That's why I'm always looking for products that can pull double duty. These silicone lids are the answer to my storage woes. The set of five sizes are the perfect covers for saucepans, a great way to reheat a mug in the microwave without worrying about splatters (they're heat safe up to 550 degrees!), and a more eco-friendly substitute for plastic wrap. They also stack together perfectly, so I can save my cabinet space for more important things, like my ever-growing mug collection."

The Sill Snake Plant Laurentii In August Planter $37Shop

"I've decided to become a plant lady as I get settled in my mid-twenties. Though many a succulent have died on my windowsill, I'm confident I can get a thriving indoor garden with the help of The Sill. They make it so easy to find a plant that works with your space (low-light, low-maintenance is what I'm looking for), and it even comes to you fully potted. My first pick? This gorgeous snake plant they say is nearly impossible to kill. Cross your fingers for me!"

Minna-Goods Grid Bedding Set $625Shop

"Minna-Goods, the textile gurus based out of Hudson, New York, recently released their first bedding set, and boy, am I excited. They're known for creating beautiful, ethically made products and often collaborate with master artisans in Central and South America. This grid bedding set is made by pedal loom weavers in LarrГЎinzar, Mexico and comes with a duvet cover and matching pillowcases. The subtle, but trendy grid print would work in any apartment - hopefully I'll add it to mine soon!"

Urban Outfitters Cat Pod $199Shop

"I've literally just decided not to renew my lease at my current apartment, which really has me dreaming of more space and a better quality of life-for my cat, of course. He loves to perch and right now he hops anywhere from the kitchen stove (very dangerous) to desks, and small tables for an escape above the ground. I stumbled upon this Cat Pod, and I really can't think of a better more aesthetically pleasing place for him to be. The wood finish on the legs is exactly the same shade as several pieces of my living room furniture, and the wicker cage could double as hideaway and scratching post (if I know his tastes). This pod is at the top of my list as soon as I have enough space to place it."

Buffy Breeze Comforter $From $180Shop

"Before I saw an ad for this comforter I knew being a hot sleeper was a thing, but I didn't know there were actually any solutions for it. As someone who needs a blanket at night but will wake up sweating because of it, this comforter was truly made for me. It promises to allow air to pass through and keep you cool all night long which is literally a dream for me. Best of all it has a curvy stitching pattern on it that is super trendy right now and totally fits my aesthetic. I'm seriously lusting after it-needless to say, my Christmas gift is sorted!"

Archipelago Black Forest Candle $39Shop

"My boyfriend brought three of these to our new apartment when we moved in together last year. Little did I know that three of these Archipelago Black Forest candles wouldn't be enough to satisfy our addiction-I swear we burned them all within four months! The scent of this candle is so enticing, it's pretty masculine and sultry with a woodsy scent peppered in. It's the perfect candle for colder months, and it really made our apartment feel cozy and ambient after traveling around the city on cold days. Now that fall is approaching, it's already in my Amazon cart, it's really the perfect scent!"
