From the world-famous music venues (and residing musicians) to the iconic restaurants, there is so much to love aboutВ Nashville. It's a veritable cultural melting pot with a Southern charm we can't resist. This mix of cultures and music has influenced the architecture and the interior design style, making way for a cool and eclectic flavor with a rock 'n' roll twist.В
Case in point, this 1930 classic craftsman home located in the heart of trendy east Nashville. Designer, Allison Crawford ofВ Allison Crawford DesignВ tells me the house was "fully renovated to complement the character of the historic neighborhood." And everything in the 3400 square-foot home tells a story.В
"That's my goal with all interior design projects," she says. "I want each room to be filled with unique treasures and conversation pieces in an edited, stylish fashion."В Take the tour and we guarantee you'll want to pin every image of this hip home.Alyssa Rosenheck ; DESIGN: Allison Crawford Design for HOTELette
Our mouths dropped to the floor when we saw this gorgeous custom kitchen. Crawford's team completely remodeled it to include custom shelving, a hood, and a banquette for an overall Parisian bistro vibe.
"The art was all sourced from a Parisian flea market, and the table is a 1800s wine table from Burgundy, France," she says. "The modern appliances are surrounded by custom cabinetry painted in Farrow and Ball Downpipe."Homestead Seattle Bazan Persian Rug $595Shop Alyssa Rosenheck ; DESIGN: Allison Crawford Design for HOTELette
The Parisian ambiance continues into this quaint little breakfast nook complete with Thonet chairs we'll never stop swooning over.В

Crawford really mixed up the textures in this space. We love how she covered the entire wall with white subway tiles, and the darkВ timber flooring complements theВ inky cabinets. The rug adds just the right amount of color to lighten the mood.В
The open shelving matches the timber floors and gives a slightly rustic feel against the sleek tiles. There are so many touch-me, feel-me textures at play here.ВMexican Imports Deep Wooden Dough Bowl $55Shop Alyssa Rosenheck ; DESIGN: Allison Crawford Design for HOTELette
The living room is really where the home's eclecticism comes to the fore. Midcentury modern furniture is mixed with that Parisian flea market aesthetic from earlier for a truly rock 'n' roll chic effect. It puts the fun back into design.В
In fact, the eclecticism is exactly the goal Crawford had in mind when designing the living space. She wanted it to be the first thing guests noticed when they walked through the door. "The 1970s mustard yellow couch is complemented by a vintage African mud cloth pillow and pink side tables," she says. "The guitar and book collection is a reflection of the Nashville music scene along with the kitschy painting over the original fireplace."
She continued the artistic license with vintage paintings from flea markets placed atop the fireplace.Chairish Vintage Mid-Century Modern Surrealist Hard Edge Abstract Oil Painting $380 $275Shop Alyssa Rosenheck ; DESIGN: Allison Crawford Design for HOTELette
The eclectic vibe continues into the dining room with almost an entire furniture cast of vintage pieces. "The table was utilized during wedding ceremonies in India for decades and is surrounded by classic Jerry Johnson chrome chairs," says Crawford. "The ornate chandelier was sourced from Nashville's Preservation Station and nicely highlights the original fireplace."
The only non-vintage piece is the iconic Supreme Kate Moss photograph in the corner. A nice nod to pop culture.ВEtsy Kate Moss Supreme Poster $14Shop Alyssa Rosenheck ; DESIGN: Allison Crawford Design for HOTELette
As we make our way through the house, each of the rooms gives way to a more contemporary, cool, approach. This bedroom is a great example of the high/low mix withВ Atollo gold table lamps beside the bed and an IKEA pendant lamp above.В

Everything in the house is thoughtfully layeredВ for a visually appealing flow. No matter how eclectic the dГ©cor gets, the colors tie everything back in together and provide a much-needed anchor.В

This "special place" as Crawford calls it is a millennial pink haven with the Chanel-esque pink tweed Milo Baughman sofa and chair upholstered in original Jack Lenor Larsen fabric. "The space is grounded with the old Saltillo tile flooring and broken antique mirror," she says.
This den is a major contrast to the neutral and often earthy tones of the rest of the house, but it also makes you think Why not? The master bedroom was painted in the same dark Farrow and Ball color as the kitchen. The moody tone creates a sleep chamber that just invites you toВ snooze.
